First ever screen print job that I had to dive right in to, despite me not knowing anything about screen printing. The clients loved it. I like how this one turned out too, but there’s still something missing in it for me…
Concept is from that scene wherein the ‘IR’ used its camouflage and wreaked havoc on those soldiers. One of the commissioners suggested replacing the soldier with the gyrosphere housing the kids in it. Great idea – the whole composition suddenly looked like it has an eye in there when you look at it from afar.
This poster was commissioned by THE COMMISSIONER’S CLUB and was my first screen print ever. Art direction by Kyle Reist.
